The next morning, Adwait and Vansh are sitting in a café, staring at each other with nothing but pure hatred.

"You have to help me," Adwait says, breaking the silence.

"Why would I help you?" Vansh replies, stating the obvious.

"Because Devisha is your sister," Adwait responds, irritation creeping into his tone as he notices the smirk on Vansh's face.

"Arre-re mujhe toh ye baat pata hi nahi thi, thanks batane ke liye," Vansh says, his smirk widening. ("Oh really, I had no idea! Thanks for the information.")

"Vansh, this is not a joke. You have to help me," Adwait insists firmly.

"Arre jijaji hone wale, shant ho jaiye! Itna gussa karenge toh kaise chalega? Devisha waise hi gusse waali insaan hai; agar dono hi gussa gussa karenge toh gayi tumhari shaadi." Vansh replies, clearly enjoying Adwait's irritation. ("Ah, future brother-in-law, calm down!  Devisha is already hot-tempered; if both of you will play anger anger then your marriage will be a disaster.")

"Look, I don't have time for your nonsense. I'm here to tell you ki tum abhi ekdum Devisha ke saamne haan mat bol dena meri aur uski shaadi ke liye, samjhe?" Adwait explains. ("I'm here to tell that, don't agree for the marriage immediately in front of devisha. understand?")

"Or mai aisa kyun karoon?" Vansh replies, continuing to provoke him. ("And why would I do that?")

"Kyuki maine kaha." Adwait answers. ("Because I said so.")

"Tumne kaha aur maine sun liya. Keep dreaming, jijaji," Vansh adds, enjoying himself. ("Oh, you said it, and I heard it. Keep dreaming, brother-in-law.")

"Tumhe kya chahiye?" Adwait asks. ("What do you want?")

"Jo tumne mujhse 5 saal pehle cheena tha, woh," Vansh replies, his tone turning serious. ("What you took from me five years ago.")

"Vansh, agar ye mere bas mein bhi hota toh bhi main nahi karta, kyunki tumhe mere raaste mein nahi aana chahiye tha," Adwait says, refusing Vansh's demand. ("Vansh, even if I could, I wouldn't, because you know you shouldn't have come in my way.")

"Sorry, Adwait. I can't help you then," Vansh replies, starting to stand up.

"Arre saale sahab, aap toh bura maan gaye! Iss cheez ke alawa aap kuch bhi bolo, main poora kar dunga, sach mein please," Adwait pleads sincerely, to his enemy of all people. ("Oh come on, man, don't take it so hard! Anything else you ask, I'll do it, promise.")

Vansh smirks and says, "Arre, the great Adwait Aggarwal is saying please to me. Ye tumhe kisne sikhaya?" ("Oh, the great Adwait Aggarwal is saying please to me. Who taught you that?")

"Tumhari behen ne. Woh mujhse kuch bhi karwa sakti hai; please toh bohot chhoti cheez hai," Adwait replies. ("Your sister. She can make me do anything; saying please is a small thing.")

"Acha, tumhe kya chahiye, bolo," Adwait says. ("Alright, what do you want, tell me.")

"Tumhari company mein 10% shares," Vansh replies, grinning ear to ear. ("10% shares in your company.")

"Ok, fine," Adwait replies with a frustrated sigh.

At the Ahuja house

Vansh enters Devisha's room.

"Devi," Vansh calls out softly.

"Bhaiya, tujhe Adwait se kya problem hai? Itna acha ladka hai! Uski family bhi achi hai, aur woh apne family business ko ache se sambhalta hai. Usse acha ladka mujhe kaise milega? Tu hi bata," Devisha starts complaining as soon as she hears Vansh's voice. ("Brother, what problem do you have with Adwait? He's such a good guy! His family is good, and he manages the family business well. How will I find anyone better? You tell me!")

"Devi, bacha, shant. Maine Adwait ke baare mein suna hai ki woh ladkiyon ko use karke chhod deta hai. Ab main aise ladke se teri shaadi kaise karwa sakta hoon?" Vansh explains to Devisha gently. ("Devi, dear, calm down. I've heard that Adwait uses girls and then leaves them. How can I let you marry to a guy like that?")

"Bhaiya, main Adwait ko 11th standard se jaanti hoon. Mujhe uspar poora bharosa hai. Woh baaki logon se rude hoga, par mera bahut ache se dhyaan rakhta hai aur kabhi mujhe cheat nahi karega ya mera dil nahi todega. Tu usse ek baar aamne saamne baat kar le, apna gussa side mein rakh ke, toh tujhe uski asliyat dikh jayegi," Devisha pleads  Vansh, almost in tears. ("Brother, I've known Adwait since 11th grade. I trust him completely. He might be rude to others, but he always takes care of me. He'll never cheat on me or break my heart. Just meet him once and talk face-to-face, putting your anger aside, and you'll see his true self.")

"Acha, theek hai. Ab aisi shakal mat bana; pehle hi itni gandi dikhti hai, aur upar se aisi shakal banake toh ekdum suar jaisi dikh rahi hai," Vansh replies playfully. ("Alright, fine. And stop making that face—you already look bad enough; making this face, you look just like a pig.")

"Tujhse pyaar aur izzat se baat karoon toh tujhe khana hazam nahi hota hai, hai na?" Devisha retorts playfully. ("If I talk to you with love and respect, you can't digest your food, can you?")

"Acha, kal shaam ko 7 baje tere us Adwait se milte hain, theek hai?" Vansh says. ("Alright, tomorrow at 7 pm, we'll meet your Adwait, okay?")

"Ha bhaiya, main usse bata doongi," Devisha replies. ("Yes, brother, I'll tell him.")

The next evening

Adwait, Devisha, and Vansh are sitting in the same café again. The atmosphere is tense, with Devisha fidgeting nervously. Finally, Adwait decides to break the silence.

"Bhaiya, main kal Devi se baat ki. Usne mujhe bataya ki aapko aisa lagta hai ki main Devisha ko dhoka dunga. Par aisa kuch nahi hai. Mainne Devisha ke alawa pichle 12 saalon mein kisi aur ladki ko dekha bhi nahi hai. Plz mujhe trust kijiye, main aapki behen ko kabhi kuch nahi hone doonga," Adwait says, sincerity deepening in his voice. ("Brother, I spoke with Devi yesterday. She told me you think I might cheat on Devisha. But it's not like that. I haven't looked at another girl in the last 12 years besides Devisha. Please trust me, I will never let anything happen to your sister.")

"Or is baat ka proof kya hai ki tum usse hurt nahi karoge?" Vansh asks. ("And what's the proof that you won't hurt her?")

"Bhaiya, kya tu police hai jo bina saboot ke faisla nahi sunta? Woh keh raha hai na muh se, aur kya chahiye? Ab kya seena phaad ke usme se meri photo niklegi tab maanega?" Devisha retorts playfully. ("Brother, are you the police or something that you need evidence to make a decision? He's saying it, what more do you want? Should he tear open his chest and have my photo come out for you

"Bhaiya, trust me. Agar maine Devisha ka dil toda, toh aap meri jaan le lena," Adwait says with earnest sincerity. ("Brother, trust me. If I ever break Devisha's heart, you can take my life.")

"Thik hai, thik hai. Tum apne mummy papa ko bhej do mere ghar rishta leke. Mai apne mummy papa se baat karta hoon," Vansh says with a small fake smile. ("Alright, alright. Send your parents over with the proposal. I'll speak to my parents as well.")

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, bhaiya! I love you so, so much!" Devisha squeals with happiness.
