It's morning, and Adwait is at the hospital where Sakshi is admitted. It's his first time visiting, though he has been regularly getting updates about her health.
Adwait asks the receptionist for Sakshi's room and makes his way toward it. Once inside, he sees Sakshi awake, but she looks weak. The doctors mentioned she can go home today after a few tests.
Sakshi senses someone approaching and quickly turns her head, but disappointment crosses her face when she realizes it's not Vansh or Devisha, but an unfamiliar man.
"Aap kaun hain?" ("Who are you?") *She asks, her voice low and soft.
"Main Devisha ka boyfriend, Adwait." ("I'm Devisha's boyfriend, Adwait.") He replies with a soft tone.
At the mention of her best friend, Sakshi's eyes light up.
"Woh bhi aayi hai aapke saath?" ("Is she here with you?")She asks excitedly, peering behind Adwait.
"Nahi, woh... mujhe aapse kuch baat karni thi. Actually, aapko bahut kuch batana hai abhi, lekin aap thik hain na? Phir hi main bataunga, warna hum baad mein bhi baat kar sakte hain agar aapko koi takleef hai toh."
("No, actually, I needed to talk to you... there's a lot to tell you, but only if you're feeling okay. Otherwise, we can talk later if you're uncomfortable.") Adwait says, unsure if he should tell her everything just after she woke up.
"Kya baat hai? Aap boliye." ("What's the matter? Please, go on.") She asks, now concerned.
Uncertain but still determined, Adwait begins narrating everything that had happened over the past five years, leaving nothing out, even if he was at fault. When he finishes...
"Vansh... woh thik hai na? Mujhe usse milna hai. Aap please mujhe uske ghar le chaliye."
("Vansh... he's alright, right? I need to see him. Please, take me to his home.") She pleads, her eyes filling with unshed tears.
"Agar unko kuch ho gaya toh main kabhi apne aap ko maaf nahi kar paungi. Please, aap mujhe Ahuja mansion le chaliye."
("If anything has happened to him, I'll never forgive myself. Please, take me to the Ahuja mansion.") Her voice breaks as she finishes, and she starts crying.
"Shh, aap shaant ho jaiye. Doctor ne bola hai ki ek ghante mein aapke test ke reports aa jayenge. Agar sab theek raha toh hum ja sakte hain."
("Shh, calm down. The doctor said your test results will be ready in an hour. If everything's okay, we can go.") He replies calmly.
But inside, Adwait feels anything but calm. He knows he's partly responsible for the lives he's affected.
Later that evening,
Sakshi and Adwait are heading to the Ahuja mansion.
Sakshi
"I don't know what's happening. I remember Vansh and I driving peacefully, humming songs, and enjoying each other's company. Then suddenly, our car lost control, we hit a truck, and in a quick moment, I pushed Vansh out of the car to save him... after that, I don't know what happened. And now, it's been five years, and Vansh thought I was dead. I can't imagine the pain he must have felt. The ache in my own heart is unbearable.
"Doctors asked me to rest, but how can I when I've just learned Vansh is in a coma? I'm so overwhelmed....
It was in 9th grade that everything went wrong. There were sudden rumors about Devisha being obsessed with a boy who was actually just a friend of mine. Devisha didn't even like him, but he was madly infatuated with her. When she rejected him, I tried to console him because I thought he was a good guy.
But then he started spreading rumors — that Devisha was in love with him, that she was forcing him to be with her, even to kiss him. And then he manipulated Devisha into thinking that it was me who did all these, because I loved him.
The rumors spread fast, and Devisha heard them. She never let me explain. She assumed I had betrayed her, even though I would never have done that to her. The insults she faced because of those rumors were intense, and even some teachers started to taunt her. I tried to tell her the truth, but she ignored me and distanced herself completely.
When Vansh and I got together, I told him everything. He reassured me that he'd talk to Devisha someday when the right time comes. He said I needed to focus on work, and Devisha needed to focus on her studies. But that moment to clear things up never came... because of all this mess.
And now, facing Devisha, especially without Vansh by my side, feels like a nightmare.

Adwait's car reaches the Ahuja mansion.
"Sakshi, please abhi jo kuch tumhare saath hua hai woh Devisha ko mat batana. Yeh sab main usse samjhaunga."
("Sakshi, please don't tell Devisha everything that's happened to you right now. I'll be the one to explain it to her.") Adwait requests, and Sakshi nods, a small smile on her face.
Sakshi enters the mansion, her heart full of emotions. This was the place where she and Devisha shared so many mischievous moments — the best memories of her childhood.
Meanwhile, Adwait has already informed Devisha of Sakshi's arrival, and Devisha has asked Adwait to take her directly to Vansh's room. She doesn't have the courage to face Sakshi after all these years. Devisha had never truly believed the rumors about Sakshi, but as a teenager, she acted impulsively. Now, facing Sakshi is as hard for her as it is for Sakshi.
"Ab kya Devisha mujhse milegi bhi nahi?"
("Now will Devisha even meet me?") She murmurs, tears filling her eyes.
Sakshi was feeling to much of emotions feeling that there is no one for her. Sakshi was raised by her mom because her dad left his mom because she gave birth to a girl child. Sakshi's mom worked hard to afford Sakshi's expenses. Her mom was educated enough to afford their expenses but when Sakshi was in 12th grade her mom passed away due to cancer and from then on wards Sakshi is on her own with no one for her in this world but then suddenly after 3 years
Flashback
She met Vansh in a small café sitting alone and working on some files She decided to ignore him because of course if he will notice her than he would hate her for whatever people think she has did to devisha
She was about to leave the cafe when vansh called her out sakshi turned her head towards him
He waved at her his smile charming has ever that made sakshi's heart flutter and she felt that maybe there's someone to love her after her mother
Back to present
Sakshi makes her way to Vansh's room, and seeing him lying on the bed, alive only because of the machines, her heart breaks.
A sudden, sharp pain pierces through her head, leaving her disoriented. Her vision blurs as the ache intensifies, making it hard to focus. She stumbles, her legs feeling weak and unsteady beneath her, as if the ground is shifting. The world around her begins to spin, the sounds fading into a distant hum. She gasps softly, trying to steady herself, but her body betrays her. Her knees buckle, and before she can comprehend what's happening, an overwhelming darkness engulfs her, pulling her into it.
Adwait calls Devisha immediately. She arrives and asks Adwait to call the doctor while she helps Sakshi to her room.
After sometimes when sakshi gains consciousness
"Kya hua tujhe? Aise chakkar kaise aa gaye? Pakka dhang se khana nahi khaya hoga. Kitni baar bola hai, khana skip mat karna!"
("What happened to you? How did you get dizzy like this? You definitely didn't eat properly... how many times have I told you not to skip meals!") Devisha scolds, trying to keep her voice firm, but failing.
"Sorry..."
("Sorry...") She replies, smiling softly, knowing her bestie still cares.
"Kya sor—" Her voice trails off as she realizes the situation.
Sakshi sighs heavily, sensing Devisha's shift.
"Devu, tujhe sach mein lagta hai main teri badnaami kar sakti hoon? Tere character ko kharab kar sakti hoon? Itna hi bharosa hai tujhe mujh par?"
("Devu, do you really think I'd ruin your reputation? Tarnish your character? Is this all the trust you had in me?")
"Sakshi, I'm sorry. Maine tab impulsively decision liya, aur uske baad tujhse milne ki himmat hi nahi hui."
("Sakshi, I'm sorry. I took those decision impulsively)

"Sakshi, I'm sorry. Maine tab impulsively decision liya, aur uske baad tujhse milne ki himmat hi nahi hui."
("Sakshi, I'm sorry. I made an impulsive decision back then, and after that, I just couldn't find the courage to meet you.")
"Mujhe pata hai meri galti maafi ke layak nahi hai. Mujhe tujh par trust karna chahiye tha, par maine nahi kiya."
("I know my mistake is unforgivable. I should have trusted you, but I didn't.")
"Tu aur tera bhai dono ek jaise hi ho."
("You and your brother are both the same.")
"Matlab?"
("What do you mean?")
"Matlab pyaar toh bahut karte ho, dikhana dono ko nahi aata. Aur upar se Bhagwan ko bhi dekh dono ko meri zindagi mein hi fek diya ki sambhal dono bhai-behen ko, akeli bichari main."
("I mean, you both care a lot, but neither of you knows how to show it. And on top of that, God decided to put both of you in my life to take care of , all alone.")
Devisha rolls her eyes playfully.
"Hogya tera!"
("That's enough of your drama!")
"Nahi!"
("No!")
"Abh kya burai karni hai meri aur mere bhai ki tujhe?"
("What are you trying to criticize about me and my brother?")
Sakshi shakes her head, trying to hide a smile.
"Kya abh hum firse dost hain, pehle jaise?" Sakshi asks hopefully.
("So are we friends again, like before?")
"Nahi."
("No.") *Devisha's words make Sakshi tense up, her eyes wide in surprise. But then Devisha smiles and adds, "Abhi humara bond pehle se bhi strong ho chuka hai."
("But now our bond is even stronger than before.")
At that moment, Sakshi feels a wave of relief wash over her. The heaviness in her heart begins to lift as the two best friends embrace each other tightly.
