Back to the present
"Mere bhai, mai itna dimag hai chizo ko maturely handle karne ke liye, ye mujhe nahi pata tha," Devisha says, rolling her eyes. (My brother has so much brain to handle things maturely, I didn't know this.)
"Acha, ye toh bata ki kisne kis ko propose kiya aur kaise kiya," Devisha says, getting excited to know who proposed. (Okay, tell me who proposed to whom and how.)
"Of course, Vansh ne," Sakshi says proudly. (Of course, it was Vansh.)
"Or kaise?" Devisha asks. (And how?)
Flashback
It's been one month since Vansh and Sakshi met that day in the café. Since then, they've been in touch. Vansh often calls her, asking about her whereabouts, and they even meet on Sundays.
Vansh
It's been a month since I met Sakshi, and I guess I've started liking her a little too much. I've met her several times before when she was in school, but that time I met her only as my sister's friend, and my heart never fluttered the way it did when I saw her in the café that day. I felt like my heart skipped a beat after seeing her after years. I don't know what had happened between her and Devisha that they were not in contact anymore. I guess career stress, because yeah, it's bitter but true, we're not that connected to our school friends once school is over and there are responsibilities on our shoulders.
But when Sakshi confessed that her mother is not alive anymore, it made my heart clench. That girl has endured a lot at such a young age that no one can imagine. First, her father left her just because of that pathetic reason of her being a girl. I sometimes don't understand the mentality of these people. They worship Devi Ma but wouldn't accept her as a daughter? Like seriously, either stop worshipping God because you are not worth worshipping them if this is your mentality.
She would be so alone after her mother was gone, with no one by her side.
I wish I could fill her life with love and joy.
But what should I do about my feelings? Should I propose to her? But will she accept it? I'm four years older than her. I don't want her to feel like I'm a creep or something.
But if I don't propose to her, then maybe I will regret it later.
Let's think how to do it now.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Sakshi was also thinking about Vansh.
Sakshi, in her room, was looking at her mother's photo frame, sitting on the corner of the bed, feeling a lot of emotions. She has too started liking Vansh a bit. She feels so much at peace whenever she talks to Vansh on call or messages and is always waiting for Sundays to meet him. But the thing is, she can't like him. He is Devisha's brother, and she can't have feelings for him.
But does our heart listen to us when it comes to love?
Our heart doesn't understand what is supposed to be right or wrong,
But always it's our heart that takes the right decision.
"Mumma, kya karu mai? Mujhe Vansh se pyaar ho gaya hai," Sakshi murmurs, looking at the photo frame. (Mom, what should I do? I have fallen in love with Vansh.)
She hugs the frame and dozes off to sleep, not knowing what the future holds for them.

It's Sunday again
As usual, Sakshi and Vansh are meeting each other, sitting in a small and cozy café.
Sakshi notices a guy sitting at a nearby table, and she recognizes him as one of her and Devisha's close friends from school.
"Hi, Kartik," Sakshi says excitedly.
"Hi, Sakshi," Kartik says, getting up from his seat, giving Sakshi a side hug.
"How are you? Kya kisi ka wait kar rahe ho?" Sakshi asks. (How are you? Are you waiting for someone?)
"Arre, nahi. Bas akela hi aaya tha, self-time ke liye," Kartik replies, smiling. (No, I came alone, just for some self-time.)
"Tu date pe aayi hai kya?" Kartik asks. (Are you on a date?)
But before Sakshi could deny it, Vansh stands up and pulls Sakshi close to him by her waist.
"Ha, hum date pe aaye hain. Abh, please, kya aap hume privacy denge?" Vansh says, glaring at Kartik. (Yes, we are on a date. Now, please, would you give us some privacy?)
Sakshi's eyes widen in shock hearing Vansh's words. She looks at Vansh with wide eyes, but Vansh only smiles at her.
"Okay, guys. Enjoy," Kartik says and leaves the place.
"Vansh, ye kya bola aapne?" Sakshi asks as soon as Kartik leaves. (Vansh, what did you just say?)
"Ye maine kya bola aur kyun bola, jaanne ke liye, shaam ko 7 baje tayaar hokar ready rehna. Mai tumhe lene aaunga," Vansh says and makes his way out, not waiting for Sakshi's response. (What I said and why I said it, to know that, be ready at 7 PM. I will come to pick you up.)
Sakshi gets baffled by the events that had occurred and feels nervous about what Vansh wants to say to her in the evening. She feels like he would propose to her, but she doesn't want to get her hopes high.

It's evening time
Sakshi was getting ready. She was not isure whether to wear an Indian or Western outfit but then decides to go with a traditional one.
Sakshi was applying her lipstick when her phone starts ringing. She quickly picks up the call, seeing Vansh calling.
Vansh- "Kahaan ho tum?" (Where are you?)
Sakshi- "Tayaar ho rahi hoon. Aap?" (I'm getting ready. Are you?)
V- "Main tumhara wait kar raha hoon." (I'm waiting for you.)
S- "Haan, bas 2 minutes mein aayi." (Yes, I'll be there in 2 minutes.)
Sakshi quickly applies her lipstick and runs out of the room, grabbing her house keys.
As soon as Sakshi steps outside the building, her gaze lands on Vansh, who is leaning against his car, looking at his phone.
Sakshi gets lost in her world, seeing Vansh standing there, looking as handsome as always. Vansh, sensing her gaze, looks up at her and smiles. Sakshi smiles back and walks towards him. Vansh then opens the car door for her, and she settles inside. Her cheeks warm, and a shy smile plays on her lips. Vansh smiles, looking at her flustered state.
Vansh settles beside Sakshi and starts driving.
"Waise, aaj hum dono twinning kar rahe hain," Vansh says, his voice soft, filled with love and a little shyness. (By the way, today we're twinning.)
As soon as Sakshi hears it, her blush deepens, and she smiles softly.
The whole ride then fits into a comfortable silence with slow romantic songs playing in the background.
After 20 minutes, they reach their destination, which is a small garden café that is completely empty.
Sakshi was about to open the door for herself when Vansh stops her and runs from his side to open the door for her.
He extends his hand for Sakshi, which she accepts gracefully.
Vansh and Sakshi enter the garden café, where only one table is placed in the center.
Sakshi looks around the garden with her mouth slightly open.
Vansh turns Sakshi towards him and looks into her eyes with love.
"Vansh, ye sab?" Sakshi asks. (Vansh, what is all this?)
"Shh, mujhe bolne do," Vansh says, placing his fingers on her lips, to which Sakshi nods her head slightly. (Shh, let me speak.)
"Sakshi, dekho, I don't know tum kaise react karogi, par please pura sun lena. I don't want you to feel like ki main ek creep hoon, but I swear, jabse hum uss din café mein mile hain, I can't stop myself from thinking about you. Jab hum milte hain, tab mujhe sukoon milta hai. Jab tumhara message aata hai, toh apne aap chehre par ek smile aa jaati hai. Main tumhara haath thamna chahta hoon, tumhe apne jeevan ki sakshi banana chahta hoon. Agni ko sakshi maan ke tumhare saath 7 phere lena chahta hoon, apni zindagi tumhare saath bitana chahta hoon. Haan, mujhe pata hai ki main tumse 4 saal bada hoon, aur agar tumhe mana karna hai toh theek hai, main tumhe force nahi karunga," Vansh pours all his emotions in words.
(Sakshi, look, I don't know how you'll react, but please listen to everything. I don't want you to feel like I'm a creep, but I swear, since we met that day in the café, I can't stop thinking about you. When we meet, I feel at peace. When your messages come, a smile automatically appears on my face. I want to hold your hand, make you a part of my life. I want to take 7 vows with you, make you my life partner. Yes, I know I'm four years older than you, and if you have to say no, it's okay. I won't force you.)
"Agar maine mana kiya toh aap kya karoge?" Sakshi asks, her emotions at bay. (What will you do if I say no?)
"Intezaar," Vansh replies, smiling. (Wait.)
"Tumhara jawab kya hai, Sakshi?" Vansh asks seriously. (What's your answer, Sakshi?)
Sakshi doesn't understand what's happening and starts leaning towards Vansh's lips and kisses him. Vansh's eyes widen at first, but then he reciprocates the kiss with intensity, pulling her closer to himself. After some time, they break apart.
"Aapka jawab, mam?" Vansh asks teasingly. (Your answer, ma'am?)
"Iske baad bhi aapko jawab chahiye?" Sakshi glares at him. (Even after this, you want an answer?)
"Ha toh jawab toh chahiye hi na," Vansh replies nonchalantly, to which Sakshi rolls her eyes. (Well, of course, I need an answer.)
"Acha, I love you too," Sakshi says.
"Par maine 'I love you' toh bola hi nahi," Vansh teases further. (But I never said 'I love you.')
"Vansh," Sakshi glares at him.
"Ha boliye," Vansh replies, testing his luck a little too much.
"I hate you," Sakshi says, huffing.
"I love you too, baby," Vansh replies, laughing.
They then have their dinner in complete silence. After finishing their dinner, they were gazing at the stars when Vansh looks at Sakshi.
"Will you dance with me?" Vansh asks, forwarding his hand for her, to which Sakshi smiles gracefully and nods, taking his hand in hers.
They both dance, looking into each other's eyes.
"You know, Vansh, I always imagined a proposal like this—so dreamy, in a garden decorated with fairy lights and dancing with my partner," Sakshi says, smiling.
"I would always like to fulfill all your imaginations, Miss Verma," Vansh says.

Back to the present
"Acha, aur kya-kya hua? Batana, aur please ye kiss-wiss sab hata dena. I can't imagine my elder brother doing that," Devisha remarks playfully. (Okay, and what else happened? Tell me, and please remove all that kiss-wiss stuff. I can't imagine my elder brother doing that.)
"Bas nikal ja, bahut ho gaya tera, ab," Sakshi remarks, blushing. (Just go away, enough of this now.)
