It's been a week since Akriti met Vansh. Vansh agreed to the meeting because, for the past few months, this woman had been coming to his company building to meet him.

Akriti changed her identity so that, when Vansh did a background check, she would come across as clear in front of him.

Akriti asked Vansh to invest in her company so that she could earn a livelihood because she left her abusive husband and now is left with nothing.

Vansh, wanting to help a woman who has faced so much in her life, asked her to prepare a presentation of her plan with some of his team members to guide her.

Akriti has been creating that plan for the past week. She came up with an idea of women's empowerment—opening daycare centers in metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata to help working women with their kids and housewives to earn a small income from it. She pictured the whole project so perfectly that anyone would invest in her plan.

On the other hand, Adwait got the news that Akriti went to meet Vansh to ask for financial help. So that she could implement her plans of revenge.

Adwait is now confused about why Akriti is asking help from Vansh Ahuja, and he is also confused as to why this name sounds so familiar to him.

Adwait was pondering all the possibilities of why Vansh would help Akriti. Vansh and Adwait had no business dealings with each other, their companies weren’t rivals, and there was no apparent reason for Vansh to want Adwait destroyed.

Adwait was sitting in his cabin, working. Because of his personal issues, the company has been facing problems, and he does not want to let his father down or let people think that he does not deserve this position and got it just because of his father.

A knock appears on the door, making Adwait look up from his files.

"Come in," he says professionally.

Adwait's PA enters the room with a tense expression.

"Sir, bohot zyada badi gadbad hai," his PA says, his voice full of tension.
(Sir, there is a huge problem.)

"Kya hua?" Adwait asks.
(What happened?)

"Sir, actually Akriti is meeting this Vansh Ahuja for financial support, so that she can harm your family." the PA says, fully stressed.

"Mujhe Vansh Ahuja ki life ke baare mein saari information chahiye. Uske mummy, papa, bhai, behen, girlfriend, wife, friends—sab kuch, woh bhi ek ghante ke andar!" Adwait says, his eyes blazing with anger. Someone is trying to hurt his family, and Adwait won’t let that happen.
(I need all the information about Vansh Ahuja's life—his mother, father, siblings, girlfriend, wife, friends, everything. And I need it within an hour!)

Meanwhile, Akriti knew that the news might have reached Adwait by now.

She was sitting in a car, the city lights flickering past her window as she pulled out her phone and dialed a number.

"Hello, sir," she said, smiling wickedly.

"Ha, bolo" ("Yes, speak"), the person on the other end replied curtly.

"The work is done. Just make sure that when they do a background check on Vansh, they don’t find out that Devisha is Vansh’s sister," Akriti said, smirking.

"Ha, woh mai dekh lunga. Tum tumhara kaam karo" ("Yes, I’ll handle that. You focus on your work"), the person replied rudely and cut the call without waiting for her response.

Akriti leaned back in her seat, her smirk widening as the call ended.

She is aware that Adwait's mental health is not stable, which would make it difficult for him to think with a clear mind. Akriti thinks her plan is flawless.

She knew that neither Vansh nor Adwait had teams equipped to handle complex cases. Their teams were simple, easy to manipulate—built for convenience, not security—because neither had ever faced a threat serious enough to demand more.

Both the "sunshine" guys were now trapped in the intricate web she had spun—a trap so devious it was bound to turn their lives into a living hell.

Adwait, desperate for answers, gathered all the personal information about Vansh Ahuja—information that Akriti had meticulously manipulated to mislead him at every turn. Every detail was a calculated move in her game, designed to tighten the noose around them both.

Subject: Vansh Ahuja

Adwait sat in his office, frustration simmering beneath his calm exterior. The weight of the situation was crushing, and he felt cornered with no clear way out. He couldn’t afford to waste any more time; the stakes were too high.

Without a second thought, he picked up the phone and dialed his PA. “Get me an appointment with Vansh Ahuja. I need to meet him in person, and I need it to happen soon.”

His voice was cold, determined. There was no room for hesitation now—he had to confront this head-on.

A few days later

Adwait sat in Vansh’s luxurious cabin, the silence pressing in on him. He glanced at his watch, growing impatient. Just as he was about to stand and leave, the door opened, and Vansh walked in with a calm, confident stride.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Aggarwal," Vansh greeted, offering a polite smile, though his eyes were curious, assessing.

Adwait didn’t return the smile. Instead, he leaned forward, his tone sharp. "Mr. Ahuja, I’ve heard that your company is funding a Ms. Akriti. Is that true?"

Vansh raised an eyebrow, momentarily taken aback. "Mr. Aggarwal, I didn’t expect you to come here asking about my investments, but no, I don’t know any Akriti. Perhaps you’re mistaken." His voice was smooth, but there was a flicker of confusion in his eyes. He hadn’t expected the CEO of D&T Finance to come all the way here to inquire about something as trivial as a person his company might be involved with.

Adwait’s gaze hardened. It was clear now that Vansh was lying. The words hung in the air like a challenge.

"Okay, Mr. Ahuja," Adwait said, standing up with an air of finality. "It was nice to meet you. But let me make this clear—if I find out you are supporting this Akriti, it won’t end well for you."

His voice was cold, the warning unmistakable. As he turned to leave, a dangerous aura surrounded him, one that seemed to grow heavier with each step. Vansh watched him leave, the weight of the unspoken threat hanging between them.

Adwait couldn’t tolerate anyone who threatened his family, and Akriti was doing exactly that. Vansh’s involvement—whether out of ignorance or choice—meant he had become a target. There would be consequences.

As soon as Adwait slid into the backseat of his car, the door shutting with a soft thud, he didn’t waste a second. His hand reached for his phone, and without hesitation, he dialed a number he never thought he would use. The call connected, and he didn’t even wait for a greeting.

"Main nahi chahta ki Vansh Ahuja kal subah tak zinda rahe," Adwait’s voice was cold, seething with a venomous hatred. (I don’t want Vansh Ahuja to be alive by tomorrow morning.)

On the other end, there was a brief silence, followed by a low chuckle, but Adwait didn’t care. His mind was already consumed with the storm he was about to unleash.

Letting the words sink in, he muttered under his breath, "Let me show you, Vansh, who is the true master of this game." A sinister smile curled on his lips, dark satisfaction creeping in as he whispered the words, as if the very act of speaking them gave him power.

Adwait had known Abhay ranawat for a few months. Abhay, the underworld king, had once needed Adwait’s help and Now, it was time for Abhay to return the debt.
